Less than 18 hours before this wedding, I was asked to photograph a longer period of the day than we had previously planned. I was a little bit caught off guard, but I was excited – and still am excited – because then it meant that more of their day could become captured memories!
We spent about an hour at Fort Rodd Hill, just the three of us. It was pretty awesome, and there were many opportunities for fun photos and classic photos. We often paused to listen to his unbelievable knowledge of Canadian history. They hadn’t spent time at Fort Rodd Hill before as a couple, and will definitely be heading back at some point to fully explore the history there.
I really enjoyed sharing a part of their excitement. She was definitely a joyful and excited bride!
Congratulations you two!

Love the shot of him wiping a teat off her face!
P.S. Iain Hooey is my favourite wedding commissioner! Haha!
I think he’s my favorite, too! Not just because he’s been the commissioner for so many of the weddings I’ve photographed, but because he seems very genuine.
OH, and “tear” haha bad typo
