One of the greatest privileges I have as a photographer is being invited in to photograph special moments in a family. Over and over. This family has left a lasting impression on me, as they have been so genuinely happy and loving each time we’ve met. After she was maid-of-honour in a wedding I photographed, N invited me to capture her family photos twice, and then again when the family grew by two adopted cousins. Their journey is one full of love, and there would be no better place to capture this love than on their property, a beautiful sprawl of woods and chickens and rivers.
