Summit Park Fall Mini Sessions || Vancouver Island Photographer

April and May have historically been my favourite months to photograph at Summit Park (or any Garry Oak ecosystem) because of the blooms, specifically camas. But I think after this past fall’s morning minis, early October may now hold a special place in my heart for this park as well. The soft light falling on the trees, makes everything glow a perfect orange for autumn. If only one could guarantee the sunlight would hit this same way if I were to come back again for autumn minis this year. It’d probably be overcast, with my luck. Nevertheless, being back at Summit Park and working with six families I’ve worked with or become friends with over the years (two families choosing to maintain image privacy), sure filled my cup.

If you’re seeing this and live within a reasonable drive of Summit Park, let’s connect. I’d love to photograph you and your special people in this place that has my heart.
